Voluntary Isolation: Day 3

We’re on Day 3 and still going strong. Another generous food delivery from a friend. Laura learned from a colleague at her clinic that the computer bit the dust — as the clinic owner, that’s her responsibility so that brought a twist to the day. The kids are great. Cess was eager to help out in the kitchen — “Wait Dad, you can stuff cheese inside chicken!?” — and Owen, not wanting to be left out, got in on the action too. I managed to put out a 3S newsletter while Laura took on most of the childcare. Had some nice FaceTime calls with friends and family. Only a few moments where things felt a little like Lord of the Flies.

Kids in the kitchen is my favourite thing. Owen has now graduated to the next stage of culinary school: his own chair.
