Hi Everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting —it’s been a little busy around here and, frankly, I’m pretty tired by the end of the day. But now that we’re all here, let’s get down to business!

“this is more fun than I thought”
We’re on Day 3 and still going strong. Another generous food delivery from a friend. Laura learned from a colleague at her clinic that the computer bit the dust — as the clinic owner, that’s her responsibility so that brought a twist to the day. The kids are great. Cess was eager to help out in the kitchen — “Wait Dad, you can stuff cheese inside chicken!?” — and Owen, not wanting to be left out, got in on the action too. I managed to put out a 3S newsletter while Laura took on most of the childcare. Had some nice FaceTime calls with friends and family. Only a few moments where things felt a little like Lord of the Flies.

Kids in the kitchen is my favourite thing. Owen has now graduated to the next stage of culinary school: his own chair.
